The biennial IDA World Congress is a globally recognized event in the field of advanced water treatment specifically related to desalination and water reuse. In 2019, the World Congress is coming to Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) during 20-24 October and is graciously hosted by the Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA) at the Dubai World Trade Center. The flagship event returns to Dubai after its highly successful 2009 World Congress patronized by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
